Our history

Stefano Camerra, an entrepreneur from the Vicenza area who started to work in the metalworking and mechanical engineering sector at an early age, decides to embark on a new adventure.

This led to the founding of Filmcutter, a company specialized in cutting and laminating flexible films.

Rapid technological evolution brought many new challenges, which caused Filmcutter to strive to continuously improve. Over time, the company has grown into a consolidated group, capable of managing and assisting important international partners, both on a commercial and production level.

Continuous technological research by the Filmcutter team led to the founding of a new division dedicated exclusively to heating. It was in this division that a special heating product, the multilayer laminated ribbon, was patented.

The Warmset business unit dedicated to heating is founded. At the age of 23, Stefano’s son, Matteo Camerra, takes over the governance of a company shortly afterwards becomes a leader in the heating market.

The generational change and new market challenges of the group are guided by a young manager named Giulia Gottardo.

Warmset is integrated into Gruppo Filmcutter spa, becoming a business unit of the group and no longer a separate company.
