Warmset radiant footboards have been developed to heat workstations in industrial buildings. They were designed to offer wellbeing to workers who remain in the same area for several hours. In large spaces such as warehouses or production units, footboards allow smart localized heating, optimizing energy consumption and operator comfort, without the heat loss that occurs with air heating.
The system is plug and play and provides fast, uniform heat distribution through its robust metal construction. An internal thermal insulation layer limits downward heat loss to the existing floor and directs the heat towards the upper surface. The platform is suitable for industrial environments where tools may generate swarf, chips or production debris.
Warmset workstation platforms are available in standard and enhanced configurations, with an approximate power density ranging from 400 to 600 W/m², depending on the selected version. Typical surface temperatures range between 30 and 40 °C and may vary according to the ambient temperature and operating conditions. Thanks to their fast heat-up time, the platforms do not require prolonged preheating.
Three standard sizes are available. The 900 × 600 × 16 mm platform weighs approximately 18 kg. The 1,800 × 600 × 16 mm platform weighs approximately 30 kg, while the 1,800 × 1,200 × 16 mm platform weighs approximately 40 kg. The standard configuration is available with outputs of 200 W, 400 W and 800 W, according to the platform size. The enhanced configuration is available with outputs of 300 W, 600 W and 1,200 W. A temperature controller can be supplied on request to allow the operator to regulate the platform temperature.

These sizes can be customized to the customer’s needs. Customization ensures maximum output in accordance with needs and adaptation to different working conditions. To complete the workstations, we recommend integrating the heating system with industrial panels to be fixed to the ceiling. In fact, the best solution is to combine radiant heat from below with radiant heat from above.
