Warmset electric drum heaters are an efficient way of keeping cans, barrels, cisterns, tanks and IBC containers at a constant temperature. These drum heating jackets usually come in four standard sizes: 25, 50, 200 and 1,000 l. Warmset’s great flexibility also allows them to be made to measure to the customer’s specifications.
HEATING STRAPS FOR ALL DRUMS
Some materials require to be kept at a constant temperature in winter, or must never drop below a certain temperature. Warmset heating straps were developed for this purpose. Thanks to the radiant core installed inside the straps, materials can always be kept at the ideal temperature required by the user. A thermostat can be mounted on each strap to allow the temperature inside the strap to be regulated from 0 to 90 °C. It is the user who sets the thermostat according to times and the features of the materials of which the receptacle is made and what is contained inside.
How are the drum heating straps made?
The strap is made of a nylon outer coating; this synthetic material is very strong and durable, even in extreme conditions. Internally, there is a layer of fiberglass insulation, to which the Warmset heating element is attached. All this is enclosed in a layer of silicone rubber, ideal for adhering perfectly to the drum or pallet the user wishes to heat and withstand high temperatures. All manufacturing takes place in Italy, in the Warmset manual department. The power of each of the drum heating straps manufactured by Warmset can vary from 400 to 550 W/m2.
