These are just some of the questions asked by those about to build or renovate an industrial building. Without being discouraged by the lack of specific knowledge on this subject: we immediately answer that electric underfloor heating is without doubt the best solution for an industrial building.
WHY?
Firstly, it is more durable than conventional water-based heating, which is instead subject to breakages and damages. Especially during installation and use, in view of the high loads that tend to be applied to the flooring. Unlike conventional heating, it can be installed in very little time, thereby reducing laying costs. What’s more, with electric heating the screed does not need to be subjected to thermal shock, consequently significantly reducing the times of use.
In industrial buildings underfloor heating can be positioned in circumscribed areas, without having to heat the whole surface. Thanks to the Warmset management system, it is possible to heat while reducing consumption, with significant energy savings.
HOW IS THE RADIANT LAID?
Warmset multi-layer laminated ribbon for heating industrial buildings can be attached to different supports, variable according to installation requirements (fiberglass, polypropylene mesh, aluminium). It is rolled up in mats to facilitate laying. The mat is designed to be installed in both indoor and outdoor floors of homes and industrial buildings and can be covered by screed, flooring adhesive and reinforced concrete, thanks to the extra protection provided in the sheath. The mats can also be laid out straight for large linear sections (up to 110 m in length).
