Warmset radiant footboards have been developed to heat workstations in industrial buildings. They were designed to offer wellbeing to workers who remain in the same area for several hours. In large spaces such as warehouses or production units, footboards allow smart localized heating, optimizing energy consumption and operator comfort, without the heat loss that occurs with air heating.
Workstation heating footboards are plug & play, i.e., they are ready to use. What’s more, they have a very low consumption power: just 400 w/m2.
Their metal structure allows optimal and uniform heat distribution and provides mechanical strength even in areas in which work tools can produce chips or debris on the ground. The footboards all have IP68 protection. The galvanized plate surface of the footboard offers optimal mechanical strength and excellent distribution of the surface heat.
Internally, the bottom of the footboard is made of insulation material, which increases the efficiency of the heat. Warmset patented heating technology is secured to the metal plate with an acrylic glue that guarantees high mechanical and thermal performance.
The Warmset heating footboard is the smart and practical alternative for heating industrial workstations. Rather than heating the entire working area, the Warmset footboard only heats the area in which the worker is stationed.
This offers two advantages:

- Saving of a significant amount of energy that is required to heat a large space;
- High operator comfort.
The surface temperature reached depends on the temperature of the space in which the product is installed, and can range from 30 to 40 °C. Thanks to the excellent speed and spread of heat, the system allows considerable savings as it does not require to be switched on hours in advance. On request, the footboard can be provided with a thermostat to allow the operator to regulate its heat. Warmset footboards come in three different standard sizes.

These sizes can be customized to the customer’s needs. Customization ensures maximum output in accordance with needs and adaptation to different working conditions. To complete the workstations, we recommend integrating the heating system with industrial panels to be fixed to the ceiling. In fact, the best solution is to combine radiant heat from below with radiant heat from above.
