The insulation placed under screeds or self-levelling screeds is very important. In fact, without shielding, the performance of the heating would deteriorate.
We are often asked how many centimetres of insulation should ideally be installed between subfloor and Warmset radiant heating. Our answer is always the same: as many as possible!
We recommend installing a high density EPS insulation, or similar, with the same functionality.

Constant product evolution makes it possible to choose from new high performance insulation materials, also made of natural elements like sheep’s wool or cork. Performance is the element that must always be taken into account in order to achieve lower consumption and less heat loss.
It is important to install insulation even where limited space available: even just one centimetre can suffice to increase the efficiency of the heating.
