Heating ecclesiastical spaces is never easy, one of the solutions Warmset has devised for heating churches is heating footboards. This option offers the faithful localised comfort during the service, thanks to the pleasant warmth felt from below.
Warmset heating is laid between a layer of insulation and a laminate wood floor. Footboard available in all sizes and finishes. This option provides localised comfort to worshippers during the service by means of perceived warmth in the lower limbs. A probe allows the temperature of the footboard to be set in a range between 26° and 38° max. Radiant platform heating starts from the concept of warming people without having to heat the room. In this way, more power can be concentrated in a limited area, reducing the energy to be used. The temperature of the air inside the church will not undergo substantial variations unless all the platforms are used continuously. In this way, even the frescoes and works of art will not have problems or damage caused by the hot air, which is released with traditional heaters.
A chrono-programming can be inserted into the control panel to switch the footboards on and off according to ecclesiastical needs. The system also requires no maintenance as it has no boiler, pumps or hydraulic circuits. The cost of supply, maintenance and operation is very affordable, thanks to the system being specifically designed for low-cost comfort. The power of the platforms is calibrated and carefully studied according to the needs of the building, the standard ranges from 250 to 300 w/sqm.
